lyrics
I cannot erase
the past it is gone
refocus reframe
the future is ours
broken and bruised
smothered by the thoughts of you
in my head
I cant resist
So go on, keep believing
this broken cycle's worth repeating
I'll see my own way out
I'll leave a trail to follow
this sugar pill is hard to swallow
but I'll find my own way out
target acquired
brought down by desire
the secrets you keep aren't setting you free in the end
only in your head
shattered, confused
this will be the death of you
in your head
you cant resist
So go on, keep believing
this broken cycle's worth repeating
I'll see my own way out
I'll leave a trail to follow
this sugar pill is hard to swallow
but I'll find my own way out
uncover the scars
you're not the only one who got burned
recovering the parts
taking the reigns
we're taking over
there's gotta be a way out for me
they're pulling you down, pulling you under
taking the reigns we're taking over
I'll find a way out
there's gotta be a way out for me
no way, no way
there's gotta be a way

I remember when Growing In was released as a surprise, I was incredibly excited. And the way Ace passed it off as something he just whipped up really quick made me excited to just have a little something extra. But this album quickly became my favorite album of the year, and may even be my favorite album out of all of Ace's projects. christovix
Been following Somos for many years, feeling that they had an opus in them...well, here it is. Driving pop-punk sensibilities lend an upbeat tone in contrast to the grim lyrical proceedings, and they absolutely pull it off. Evocative music that's been on repeat for me all month long. RIP, Phil PaintedDogs
